Countries such as the United States, Europe, Canada, Japan and Australia require such imports to meet the safety levels outlined by the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods.
UN Certificate
UN Certificate is mandatory for any Exporter whose is exporting hazmat goods, Uncertificate is a registered UN emblem which ensures safe Packaging for packages containing hazardous and dangerous goods for transportation via Air/ Sea.
UN Certificate could only be issued after sucessfull testing of packaging samples, according to UN Standards for transportation of DGR /Haz/ Hazardous Goods, by Air (IATA/ICAO) & Sea (IMDG Code), thus shipments should be reasonably resistant to all forms of climatic environments, wear and tear during transport, being leak-proof, etc., while at the same time recording flawlessly the existence of the hazardous goods packed or filled in the package and the key constraints on package capability should be.
Such effective and competent process requires a person to be well versed in all relevant international transport standards. A UN packaging code displays type of the package being shipped. It also reveals that the packaging has passed tests set as per UN Standards for packages containing Haz or DGR Goods. The physical features of the components of the packages are defined by the different test stages.
UN mark is a universal / international system created by the United Nations, which is meant for the classification, packaging, marking and labelling of dangerous goods, in order to transport it safely (by road, rail, sea and air). Testing are required to be carried out, before a UN certification mark can be issued. The packaging must meet or exceed minimum standards of performance before it can be used.
